So how can a Christian have that confidence that overcomes discouraging circumstances—even the coronavirus and all that comes with it? I only have room for six brief, but helpful, truths.

Death always looms dark and foreboding. Though we all try to ignore it, we still know it remains 100% certain for all of us.

God has made us social beings. That’s why we feel a need to share our experiences with others. Watching a funny show, for example, just isn’t as funny if we don’t have anyone to share it with.

Why did Jesus ask such an obvious question? Who wouldn’t want to be rid of a terrible condition?

The more you get to know God’s thoughts, the better equipped you will be to “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him….” (Psalm 37:7).

How can we find God’s goodness in the midst of our present, scary pestilence?
