There is at least one way many of Christians are “gift challenged.”

The gifts that God gives His followers are not only just what we need, but they are also given to us regardless of any goodness on our part.

If God is good and loving, why does He allow us to suffer? Since He is all-powerful, couldn’t He keep hurtful things from happening?

Following God’s rules can make our lives a little better, but my experience has shown me that being religious doesn’t work very well at freeing us from our sinful habits.
